International Day - Norway
We enjoyed finding out about the Scandinavian country of Norway. Isla talked to us about her visit to Norway and showed us lots of interesting items. Thank you Isla!
After the Easter holidays we will be doing a unit about time. Please help your child by reminding them of how to find o'clock and half past times (we did this last year in Year One). This will help the children as we progress to quarter past, quarter to and five minute intervals.
This website has some time games to play with your child.
In our English work we have been talking about different sentence types. Ask your child if they can give you an example of a statement, a command, a question and an exclamation.
We are currently learning about money in Mathematics in Year 2. Please use the link below to access games related to money. The children have been selecting coins to pay for items and add coin totals together.
Our class teachers are Mrs Gruszka and Miss Crocker and our teaching assistant is Mrs Eglinton.
Please check out our news weekly. We will post all about our learning and some useful links to assist with any home learning you would like to do with us. Also please make sure you have signed up to Class Dojo so that you can keep in contact with our teachers.
